We will be in WDW Nov 28 to Dec 5. One water park will be open, do you think it will be too cold to go? My son (21) and husband really want to spend a day there. My other son (9) and I are not so sure! Thanks for your advise

    Hi Melanie,

I was in WDW last December and the weather was chilly first thing in the morning and then in the evening but was definitely warm enough for some water park fun during the day, especially as the water is heated. Saying that though I am English and we wear our shorts as soon as the sun shines so if you're from a warmer climate you may find the temperature too cold!

What I suggest you do is play your water park days by ear, the average temperature for Orlando in December is in the mid 70's but the recorded high is 90 and recorded low is 20, so a huge difference.

There is a lot of walking involved at Blizzard Beach so that'll keep you warm and you won't be waiting very long in queues as the water parks are so quiet at that time of year. If you and your youngest son still think it'll be too cold then right next door to Blizzard Beach is the really fun mini golf course Winter Summerland which you could play instead!

    Have a fun trip,

    Jo
