we are going to wdw next year and my father has aliitle trouble walking alot. Do the parks have motorized scooters or is it better rent one from off park venders

    Hi Michael,

The Walt Disney World parks do have wheelchairs and ECVs available for rent. However, there are a limited number of these available on a first-come, first-served basis. The other issue with the Disney mobility devices is that they cannot leave the theme parks. Depending on where you're staying, there may be a great deal of walking at your resort. For these reasons, I generally do recommend that guest who are sure they'll need mobility assistance either bring their own device or rent from one of the many outside agencies that service the Orlando area. There are many, but buenavistascooters.com is one that several of the Moms Panelists have had good luck with for their families.
