Hi Moms! We are going to WDW next month and will be using magic bands. My question concerns the readers. I have an enhanced license that also uses RFID technology. Will my personal info from my license be compromised by the Disney RFID readers?

    Hi Kathleen!

No worries! Information from your RFID Drivers License or other RFID cards is not collected (and wouldn't be very useful for the Disney systems, even if it were). Data is collected from MagicBands and RFID enabled room keys/tickets only. Even this data is encrypted with just a reference to a guest - no actual information is stored on any of the cards or bands.

If you are interested, the Privacy Policy for My Magic+ is a good place for further information.

    Have a great trip!
