We are going to WDW next month. I really want to make/keep the ADRs that we have. The problem is my son is diagnosed with a severe food aversion and will only eat certain foods. pb&j and chicken nuggets are two. Will they accommodate him at the restaur

    Laura,

Absolutely, Disney can help you out!

It will take a small amount of work on your part before the trip, but what is great is that you will be able to keep those ADRs for your family, and your son will be able to eat without concern.

What you should do is call the first table service restaurant on your schedule. Ask to speak to one of the chefs, letting them know that you need to speak to them about some special food allergies. Let them know as many of the items that are good for him, as well as EVERYTHING that could be of concern.

Sometimes the chef of the first restaurant will share out your issues with all the other restaurants where you have an ADR for you. At other times you may have to repeat the call for other venues. You just can't tell until you make the calls.

When you check in to each restaurant, remind the host as well as the server of your request.

FYI, this is something I wish more guests would do. Don't punish yourselves and miss such wonderful dining experiences because of some food allergies! Have fun!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
