We will be at WDW for New Year's Eve.Don't want to spend all day at a theme park till midnight fireworks.I know MK will be very crowded. What about Epcot? How late can I go into that theme park b4 risking the chance of it closing? THX so much!

    Sonia,

You are right in planning ahead for New Years Eve. It is a crowded day, as everyone likes to ring in the new year with some great fireworks.

With Epcot you face a much lower risk of having the park reach capacity. It is simply a very large park, with a lot of room for people. While it is still a concern, you should worry less about getting blocked from entering the park due to capacity limits, and more a about getting a good place to watch the fireworks.

Now Epcot will be crowded that day too. So don't misread my answer to suggest otherwise. But if it were me I would plan on entering the park no later than 3:30 or 4. I would not plan on dining at a table service restaurant, unless I had reservations. And I would try to locate a good place to watch the World Showcase fireworks a good hour and a half ahead of time.

I hope that helps? Feel free to write me back with more questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
