Hi, We're going to WDW a month before my daughter's birthday, but we wanted to celebrate while we're there. Do they do anything special (we're going to the character lunch at Epcot) Thanks!

Hi, Becky!  What a great place to be when you celebrate your birthday!

When you arrive, make sure you get your daughter the birthday button.  This will let everyone know that she is celebrating, and she'll probably get some happy birthday wishes from guests and cast members alike.

If you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort, I always let them know when I book my room that we are celebrating a special occasion.  We have on a few occasions gotten a birthday card in our room from the characters, and that's always a nice touch.  Have it noted on your dining reservations that you are celebrating a birthday as well.  Remind them when you check in at the podium, in case the information is overlooked.  Many of the restaurants offer a complimentary birthday cupcake or dessert to help you celebrate.

Have a great vacation, and a very happy birthday to your Princess!
