Hi Kelly,
Oh, I am SO excited for you get to experience the Walt Disney World Resort with your little one! As you've been before, you know just how magical it is, but this time you'll get to experience the magic with and through your own child, and it's definitely going to be full of lots of special moments!
We have always brought our own strollers, just to be sure our kiddos would be comfortable, especially for napping purposes. We also usually drive rather than fly, so bringing our own stroller is no big deal. The
strollers available to rent from Disney are quite popular, however, if you'd rather go that route. They're made of a hard plastic and have a canopy for shade as well as a place in the back for you to keep some personal items. There are also some
third party rental companies that have partnered with Disney if you'd prefer to rent a different style stroller.
While you won't be able to bring your stroller in an attraction queue with you, you'll find convenient stroller parking locations all throughout the theme parks. You may, however, keep your stroller with you when you're waiting for a parade or fireworks show. My family likes to find the perfect spot at least 30 minutes early and then enjoy a yummy snack together while we wait.
Are you familiar with the
Baby Care Centers? They're wonderful resources for families traveling with little ones and are great places for you to nurse, feed or change your baby. They also have diapers, wipes, and other common baby items for sale in case you find you need something.
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kelly, and have a magical vacation with your little Mouseketeer!
Missy
