We will be in WDW May 20-23. We have lots planned for my 9 yr old boy like the Star Wars, T-Rex Cafe... I was hoping to find something special to do for my 8 yr old girl. Anything you recommend besides the Bibbidi thing that doesn't cost too much?

My newly nine year old daughter has a whole list of suggestions she is throwing out at me in answer to your question, so I'm typing as quickly as I can to keep up with her great ideas!

In Downtown Disney, you might take your daughter to the Hanes Design-A-Tee store.  There, she can choose a t-shirt in her favorite color, and using the terminals set up there, she can choose characters, sayings, and other options to make her very own design Walt Disney World souvenir!  Right next door, she could also create her own Mouse ears, another very popular activity with my daughter.

You could take her to the Spa at the Grand Floridian, where she can experience her first facial, manicure, or pedicure.  Every Princess deserves a little pampering, and this is a great way to do just that!  The prices are about what you might pay at a nice salon at home, and you can find more information about services for children by going HERE .

The Wonderland Tea Party is another great option.  At just over $40 per child, you daughter can mingle with special guests that may include the Mad Hatter and Alice, as she enjoys a lunch that includes painting your own cupcakes and nibbling on heart shaped sandwiches.  There are stories and games as well.  This event is for children only, and while adults can watch from afar, you might book your own spa appointment as your daughter enjoys her special afternoon tea!

I hope your daughter has a wonderful time, and I hope the entire family enjoys a magical vacation!
