Hi Georgina,
I love to look at the Walt Disney World dining menus on a website called
www.allears.net choose dining then click on menus, it shows all the WDW restaurants and the latest menus with prices. Obviously every restaurant is priced differently and what you choose for your table service meal will be different to what I choose but I can give you a rough idea of prices.
A quick service breakfast at the Riverside Mill at Port Orleans costs approximately $6 for an adult breakfast platter plus on the plan you get a juice and a non-alcoholic drink.
A table service buffet breakfast at Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom costs roughly $19 which includes drinks.
A quick service lunch consisting of a quarter pound cheeseburger at Cosmic Rays in the Magic Kingdom costs about $6 plus on the plan you get a dessert at approximately $3.50 and a drink at roughly $2.50.
A table service dinner at Le Cellier in Epcot will set you back approximately $35 for a steak, $7 for dessert and $3.50 for a non-alcoholic drink.
The Disney Dining Plan, details
HERE, presently costs $39.99 per adult (10 years old and above) per night and $10.99 per child (3-9) per night. As you can see the cost of the plan is more than covered by just the Le Cellier meal plus you would also get a quick service meal and a snack for that price too.
All prices above are approximate and subject to change.
I definitely recommend you have a look at the menus on the allears site and price up what you think you'd be likely to eat, I'm sure if you intend on eating a table service meal every day that the dining plan will save you money.
Have a great trip,
Jo
