We'll be @ WDW in May celebrating 15th Anniversary DS 13th bday & DS 10th Bday! First time staying @ Polynesian Resort & wondering best room location to request. Our family tradition is Ohana & we can't wait to be so close! Thank You!

    Hi Melinda,

Woah! You are sailing towards an incredible Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Be sure to request your Celebration Buttons from any friendly Cast Member at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort so Guests and Cast Members alike can celebrate right along with your family. It's fantastic!

If you are staying in a Deluxe Studio Villa at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, the Disney Vacation Club Resort sharing the property with Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, then I think you will find that all three Longhouses available to you are equally convenient. Based on their location within the Resort, you will find the walking trail to the Transporation & Ticket Center is just steps away, and a visit The Great Ceremonial House takes under five minutes. I happen to prefer a higher floor because I prefer a balcony over a patio, but you may find the patio to be more relaxing.

If you are staying as a Resort Hotel Guest and not in the Disney Vacation Club Villas, then I love the location of the Fiji Longhouse. I enjoy that we can hear the drums from Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show and have enjoyed many evenings relaxing on my balcony overlooking the Marina.

Enjoy your quick walk to your favorite restaurant at Walt Disney World Resort! Please eat an extra bite of the delicious bread pudding for me!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
