    Hi, we're going to WDW on March 1st, 2013. Can you tell me when I can make dining reservations? I believe it is 180 days out. Can you confirm, is that September 2nd? Also, in your opinion, is it better to reserve on-line or by phone? Thanks!

    Congratulations on your 2013 Walt Disney World vacation, Danielle!  If you are anything like me, then you are getting super excited that your booking window is quickly approaching for making your Advanced Dining Reservations!  You are absolutely correct in that guests can begin making Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days in advance. September 2, 2012 is in fact the date that you can begin making Advanced Dining Reservations for March 1, 2013. If you will be a guest staying at a Disney owned Resort, you will have the added benefit of making dining reservations for the first 10 days of your vacation starting 180 days before the first day of your vacation, which is September 2, 2012. However, you will need your Disney Resort reservation number in order to book 10 days of Advanced Dining Reservations at that time. I personally prefer to book my Advanced Dining Reservations online. I called Disney Dining just now to verify my information for you and the cast member I spoke with confirmed that online reservations open at 6:00 a.m. EST and guests may begin calling (407) WDW-DINE at 7:00 a.m. EST to book Advanced Dining Reservations.
