Hi! We will be at WDW in March 2013 and will be doing the Pirates and Pals Voyage. We were thinking about Dinner at Chef Mickey's first.... Do you think if I am able to get the first seating (5pm) it will leave us with enough time to do both? Thanks!

Welcome to the Mom's Panel, Stacie! Congratulations on your Walt Disney World Vacation!  My family experienced our first Pirate and Pals Fireworks Voyage in May and thoroughly enjoyed it!  In May, we had a 5:00 p.m. Advanced Dining Reservation at Disney's Polynesian Resort and had ample time to experience Pirate and Pals Fireworks Voyage following dinner.  Wishes Nighttime Spectacular was scheduled at 10:00 p.m. on the evening of our voyage. The Pirate and Pals Fireworks Voyage usually begins one hour and 30 minutes prior to the scheduled fireworks spectacular according to the official website. I definitely think an early dinner at Chef Mickey's sounds like a great plan which will enable you to easily make your way over to your swashbuckling adventure. Having dined at Chef Mickey's on numerous occasions, I would allow 60-90 minutes for dinner. I do believe if Wishes Nighttime Spectacular is scheduled for 10:00 p.m., that you should easily be able to experience both of these family favorites in the same evening! I hope this helps! Please feel free to write me back with any additional questions you may have as your planning progresses. Best wishes for a Magical 2013 Trip, Stacie!
    Happy Planning,
