We are going to WDW in less than 2 weeks & I'm afraid I waited too long to book the "CHOICE character events." I had to take what I could get. Any suggestions on how we can still get into the Princess events that my daughter will miss out on

Hey Marla.  Keep calling reservations.  Call everyday, if possible, to see if they have had any cancellations.  Also when you arrive check at the restaurants to see if they have had any cancellations.  I have actually had this work for me, and I have had it not work.  But persistence sometimes pays off.
Also make sure you take her to Toontown at MK.  There she can meet some of her favorite princesses.  Also Pixie Hollow is located here, and she can meet Tinkerbell and her friends.  Jasmine can be found in Adventureland near the Flying Carpet attraction and Alice can often be found at the Teacups.  Also, make sure you take her to Ariel's Grotto, located behind Dumbo.  Do this early in the day as the lines get long and it's a hot line to stand in.
I hope these suggestions help, and I'll keep my fingers crossed that you might get a cancelation for one of the princess dining experiences.
Have a great time and thanks for coming to the Mom's Panel.
