    We will be at WDW in late July, staying at POP in a perferred room. Just wondering what building we should request to be closest to food court and things?

    Hi Joyce!

    Pop Century is my favorite Disney Value Resort.  I think you made a great choice.  A preferred room is one that is already close to the main building, which houses the food court, the bus stop, and the main pool.  That said, there are rooms that are closer than other preferred rooms; after all, some rooms in the same building and on the same floor are still closer to the stairs and elevators, etc.

    Instead of picking a single building to request, I suggest just requesting that you be in the preferred room that is absolutely closest to the main building.  That will give the Disney Cast Member trying to select your room the most flexibility in meeting your need.
