    @ WDW 12/22-12/27. Kids are 8&7. Staying @ Dolphin where Garden Grocer does not deliver. Now thinking of renting a car to get food but will using a car to get to parks during Xmas week be worth it? We plan to be @parks @ opening. thanks!

    Hey Bonnie,

    I bet you're getting excited for your Christmas trip.  I've got a great idea for you, and one that I have used repeatedly on our trips.  We don't typically need a car for our entire trip, but we do like to go out and shop for food upon arrival.  I rent the car for only one or two days and then return it.  The Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel has a National Car Rental on premises.  We rent the car at the airport and then after we've shopped and done other errands, we drop the car off at the hotel.  Personally, I would not want to get in the parking mess during Christmas week.  For a jolly holiday, I recommend using only Disney transportation to get to and from the parks.
