    At WDW 9/25-30 with 4 kids & 3 adults staying at FW. Because of arrival time, we aren't using the airport transportation. We can get a cab, but I wonder if we should just rent a car. How difficult is it to get around resort with a car vs DW transport?

    Hi Melinda,

    During some times of the year, traffic in the Disney World area can be thick, making car travel difficult. However, you are visiting Walt Disney World at one of the lowest crowd times of the year. MANY Disney experts would say that having a car is a great idea. If you have dining reservations at other resorts, having a car can be particularly helpful. 

    My one bit of advice is that you should use Disney transportation get to the Magic Kingdom. From Fort Wilderness it will be much faster to use the Disney boat to get to the park rather than your car. For the other parks, having a car will likely save you a bit of time.
