Will be @ WDW in June & August. Both will be at the Pop Century. We have 4G-5G Verizon phones but have had spotty service at both hotel & parks. Has cell service improved in the last 2 yrs? Does AT&T service work better than Verizon?

Howdy Barbara (from your fellow Texan)!

Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Between entertaining my kiddo with my phone, using the My Disney Experience Mobile App, taking endless videos and photos and simply searching for cell signal, Walt Disney World Resort used to be a bit of a drain on my cell phone, but I'm glad to let you know there have indeed been multiple improvements in recent years!

I personally have not noticed a major difference in cell phone carrier when traveling with girlfriends that all have different phones, so I don't think that should be of concern. I will say that the WiFi across Walt Disney World Resort property has dramatically improved and most of my international friends are able to rely on this 100% while traveling. With these improvements, I think you'll have an overall better service experience on your upcoming stay. I still do find myself in need of a backup battery from time to time so I wanted to make sure you were aware of an amazing new service that provides Portable Phone Charging System Kiosks. You can purchase a backup battery and switch it out at multiple kiosks throughout the day, so you are always running on a full charge!

Please come back and let us know if you have any other questions.
