We are going to WDW July 6th-11th 2009. We booked at Coronado Springs after much consideration. We are worried if we made the right choice and wondering where we should request our room. We are traveling 2 adults and our 2 girls (17 & 13).

    Hi David,

A number of years ago I may have agreed with you and been concerned with staying at Coronado Springs. I stayed there in December however, and have to say that my opinion of the resort has changed quite drastically.

The room I stayed in was beautiful and done in dark woods and white linens and colors. I loved the privacy door that was around the vanity area for privacy. The resort had a much more relaxed feel to it then I remembered before and I loved the layout of the resort and pool area. I took a long walk a few mornings around the grounds and was amazed at the tranquility and beauty of the resort itself.

The resort is quite large and there are a number of bus stops throughout the property that are conveniently located to the individual buildings. The buildings start to the left with the number 1000's and circle clockwise ending with building 9000 to the right of the main hall. If you are looking to stay close to the main desk, lounge, restaraunt and bus stop, I would ask for a room in the 1000 or 2000's or the 9000's. If you are looking to stay closer to the Dig Site, featuring the main pool, you would like to request a room in building 8A, 7B or 6B. You can find a great description of the distance and layout of the resort by visiting www.allears.net and selecting the accommodations tab, and then Coronado Springs.

I think your family will have an amazing time at Coronado Springs!
