Going to WDW in January with kids, parents and grandparents. Husband & I will be eating at Jiko's, will there be anything the 5 and 3 year old can do/see/explore with g-parents at the AKL in while we have dine w/o them? We r staying at other WDW hotel.

Hi, Laurel!  The kids can enjoy the savanna just outside the resort, which is a great way to see some of the animals up close.  They also might be able to catch one of the story tellers outside, or even someone to provide information on the animals.

Check at the front desk as well.  There should be a list there of resort activities the kids might be able to participate in while they visit.  They sometimes have crafts, games, or even a parade around the lobby with instruments borrowed from the gift shop.  The gift shop is another great place to explore, by the way.

They might grab a bite to eat at The Mara, and sit out by the pool enjoying their meal.  Or maybe book them their own dining reservation at Boma.

    Have a great time!
