Hi Darren!
What a great time to visit Walt Disney World! I love the winter at the parks - with usually lower crowds and great weather its a great time to enjoy!
I do have a couple of suggestions, and hopefully one (at least) will be perfect for your family!
My first idea is to surprise your family with a
Pirate and Pals Fireworks Voyage. You'll board a special boat at the Contemporary and embark on a cruise around Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon. To cap off your night, you'll have a spectacular view of Wishes!
Another idea is to visit a resort in the Magic Kingdom area, and rent a Sea Raycer. With these small boats, you can venture around the waterways and get a unique view of the Magic Kingdom. This is sure to please kids of just about all ages!
For a special dining experience,
Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue Dinner Show is always a great bet too! Kids (and adults) will enjoy the show - its filled with music, good humor, and its a great meal too!
And, last but not least, if you haven't checked out
DisneyQuest yet, give it a try! I was really surprised at how much my family (and even me - the non-gamer) had exploring and playing! Be sure to check out Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters! FUN!
Hope this gives you an idea or two to try out! Have fun!
