Going to WDW Jan.5-10 and have MANY questions, but I'll start with this: a lot of my friends are giving advice about where to eat and at this point I think I may have overbooked. Have 2 sit downs daily, is this crazy given the amt of rides etc?

    Hi Virginia,

First off, nothing is crazy at Disney World. I think the great thing about a Disney World vacation is there is something for everyone, and everyone will find just the right vacation that fits them.

There are so many amazing restaurants at Disney World that it is hard to choose. If you love to try different menus and ambiences and are a food connoisseur, then two table services are for you. During our trips, we usually have a few days where we have two table services. The only word of caution I give, is this can often be a great deal of food. We have found most sit down meals take around ninety minutes, so two a day could take three to four hours off of your day. If you have a long list of attractions and shows you want to see each day, this could be effected by your meal schedule, however if your list of must do's is at a minimum, then the time to sit down and relax and enjoy a great meal in between a few rides and shows will be just perfect for you. Given the quantity and quality of food you will be experiencing, you will want to make sure the times of the reservations are spaced enough so you will be able to enjoy each restaraunt without still be full from the previous one.

My personal choice would be to alternate days, one day do two table service and the next day one, or choose an early lunch and a late dinner time so you can have play time in between. Hope these ideas help. Bon Appetit!
