We will be in WDW on 10/31 with a hopper pass. Wondering if we could see the Fantasmic show(how long is it?) at 7 that night and then go to Epcot for the extra magic hours after the show? Thanks for all your help! Love this panel, its been VERY HELPFUL!

The Fantasmic show itself is about half an hour, so a 7:00 show will end at about 7:30. Exiting the park after Fantasmic can take some time, as the crowds are usually thick then. This will be even more true because you are there on a holiday. I'd say in this particular situation it will probably take you 20 minutes or so to get out of Disney's Hollywood Studios.

If you have the stamina, I'd suggest that the most efficient way for you to get from DHS to Epcot is walking. It's about a mile and a half away, and there is a good well-marked path. This would probably take you half an hour, depending on your pace. There is also a boat or bus. These modes of transport would take the same or less time once you are on board, but the lines to get on the boat or bus will be quite large after Fantasmic on Halloween. You would likely have to wait through a cycle or two of bus or boat boarding if you wanted to take these, making the walk faster in your situation.

Worst case scenario puts you at Epcot at about 8:30. Since, as you noted, Epcot has evening Extra Magic Hours on that night, this means that the park will be open until midnight. You will have more than three hours to enjoy Epcot that evening.

    I'm sure you'll have a great trip.
