We are going to WDW 5/27-6/2. We have heard that Disney Celebrates Same Gender Relationship Days during this time of year. I was unaware that Disney promotes this in their parks. What will my children be exposed to, or should I cancel?

    Hi Jennifer!

While I can't really answer this question for you and your family, I can tell you without any doubt or hesitation in my mind at all that I wouldn't even consider canceling or changing my vacation.

During this unofficial, non-Disney sponsored event, you'll find that many families are in the parks with their children and spouses simply enjoying the Magic that Disney World offers every park guest. I'm honestly not even sure that you'll notice that some couples may be considered "non-traditional".

When our family has attended during this week, we've never, ever seen anything that I'd consider inappropriate or out of the ordinary.

Both Disney Moms Anna and Suzannah have also answered questions on this topic. Here are two answers: Anna's and Suzannah's so that you have two more views on this topic.

Hope this helps, and I hope you have a great time in May!
