We will be in WDW on Halloween this year. Our kids are too young to stay out long enough to make MNSSHP worth it. I've read tt trick r treating was discontinued at DD last year. Is this still the case? What are some other options for Halloween day fun?

    Hi Margaret!

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is so much fun and kids have a blast trick-or-treating, watching the parade and meeting the Disney villains throughout the Magic Kingdom. The party does run late into the night, but have you considered bringing the kids back to the room for a late day nap to give them the energy to stay up late for the night? The party begins at 7:00 p.m. and goes until midnight, but we never stay that late. You can consider taking the kids for a couple of hours so they can still get to bed at a reasonable time.

If you still feel that the party is too late, you have a few other options. You can ask your resort is any special activities are planned at the resort. Some resorts have special games and activities for the kids on this special day.

Downtown Disney does not offer trick-or-treating, but they still have Halloween entertainment, such as music, storytelling and stilt walkers.

I hope you have a magical Halloween at Walt Disney World!

    Magically,
    Stacy
