Going to wdw flying into MCO and renting a car. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the hold will be on my card being I've already paid for the rental in full through Disney. The car rental is Alamo

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Stephanie! Thank you for bringing us your question to the panel!

Whenever I rent a car, I normally do so with the Disney Car Care Center on Disney property.

I usually call my Disney hotel's Front Desk and ask them to connect me with Alamo for them to send their shuttle to pick me up. They will take you to their rental facilities for you to pick up your car and when done, they will typically give you a ride back to your hotel. If you'd rather speak to them directly, you may call (407) 824-3470 ext. 1.

They usually ask for the driver's credit card to be put on hold for any incidentals, to charge gas expenses upon return and/or toll expenses. If the entire reservation has already been paid for, there should not be any other charges. Remember to visit this link to learn more about parking options and fees. If you have further questions and prefer to speak to an agent, you may call (407) 824-3470.

Stephanie, I hope this answer is helpful. Please come back with more questions, it's our pleasure to help!

    See ya real soon,

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
