Hi! We are going to WDW the first week of May. Is there anything special going on for Star Wars Day (May 4th)?

    Hi, Camille!
Thanks for reaching out to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited you have a chance to visit Walt Disney World Resort next week!

So far, there are official plans for May the 4th in Disneyland Resort, but there is nothing published so far at Disney World. I will tell you that hanging out around Disney's Hollywood Studios will put your family in the Star Wars mood! There's so much fun with the Jedi Training Academy, Star Tours - The Adventure Continues and spending time around the Star Wars Launch Bay. There's even a new live show!

Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for any official word of May the 4th events. But if I were you, I'd make sure you're in Hollywood Studios on May 4th just in case special things happen that day.

Have an unforgettable trip! Feel free to come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and ask me additional questions anytime!

I’m a mom, wife and goldendoodle dog owner who is not afraid to ride a fast roller coaster again and again. I love to travel - which is good since I telework with a job in Washington, DC. I’ve visited Disneyland and Walt Disney World multiple times and it’s fed into my belief that you’re never too old to have fun. I run when I can and recently earned my runDisney Coast to Coast medal! I also love photography and founded an online special needs community. Learn More About Jen
