At WDW are there fireworks or light shows before 8pm? When and where? We will be there with our 2yo Dec 27-31

    Hi Chelsea,

Fireworks are the perfect way to end a magical day at the Walt Disney World Resort, but when you're a young Mouseketeer, it can be hard to make it until the very end of the day!

I'm happy to let you know that you'll have a couple of options to see some spectacular evening celebrations prior to 8:00 p.m. during your visit. The calendar currently shows that Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks, a spectacular New Year's Eve celebration, will be happening at 6:30 p.m. on both Sunday the 30th and Monday the 31st at Magic Kingdom Park. Additionally, a special early viewing of IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Monday, December 31st at Epcot. I hope that you and your little one will love seeing the night sky light up in celebration while you "Ooh" and "Aah" together.

These are just some of the wonderful New Year's Eve celebration events happening around the most magical place on earth, and I hope that you find some wonderful ways to celebrate together during your stay, whether that's through formal New Year's Eve events or through finding magic in whatever you happen to be experiencing for the day. Visiting the most magical place on earth with a little one is so much fun because you get to experience the awe and wonder through them and with them. Enjoy!

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Chelsea, and please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning your trip as we're always happy to help. I hope that you and your family have a truly magical vacation!
