We will be at WDW in a few months, and are using the Disney Dining Plan for the first time. I am trying to budget for gratuities for our family of 5. What can I anticipate for a meal cost at an average table service restaurant?

Hi Sarah! Thank for writing with the great questions! I think you'll enjoy having the Disney Dining Plan. It makes it all so easy, plus it's a huge value. When presented with your bill, it will include a few percentage options for gratuities to make figuring out the math easier. Seeing as gratuities are typically based on the food you order, it's hard to estimate the cost. The Dining page on the Disney World website lists menus with prices. Simply chose your restaurant, then click on the View Menu button on the right hand side. This will give you an idea of costs at each spot, helpful since prices vary considerably. The AllEars website also list complete menus for all full serve and quick serve Disney dining locations with current prices. These are both excellent tools to also show you how much money you're saving by using the Disney Dining Plan!

Write us back with any other questions Sarah! Have a magical day!
