Hi! Going to WDW Feb. 24th - Mar. 2. We have the dining plan, but were wondering if there is a place to buy some very basic breakfast items to eat in our room. We are staying at the Art of Animation - are there fridges and microwaves there?

Hi, Tammy! Thanks for submitting your question to me on the Moms Panel.

You can buy basic breakfast items at the Landscape of Flavors food court at the Art of Animation resort. The easiest thing to do would be to stop by the food court for items like milk and cereal after you check in at the front desk in Animation Hall. You can also stop there to restock on provisions each evening on the way back to your room from the theme parks. I can tell you that there are some incredibly decadent pastries available, too. (You're on vacation, so go ahead and have dessert for breakfast!) The butter croissant I picked up for breakfast on my way to the Magic Kingdom was very fresh and tasty!

If you'll be staying in a Family Suite (Finding Nemo, Cars or The Lion King), there is a mini-kitchen in each suite with a microwave, small fridge, sink and coffee maker. There is a small fridge in The Little Mermaid standard rooms, but no microwave.

Your family will be at The Happiest Place on Earth in just a few weeks! I'm sending you some Pixie Dust for an extra magical first visit. Please write back to ask me any other planning questions before your departure date. I would be pleased to help!
