Hi. We will be at WDW in Feb to celebrate my husband's 50th. I want a nice kid-friendly but special dinner to celebrate. Any ideas?

Hey Robin!  It is a pleasure to help a fellow Georgian plan for this special occasion!I have two great suggestions for your husband's special day! California Grill located on the 15th floor of Disney's Contemporary Resort, is a Signature Dining Restaurant serving award winning gourmet dinners. With views of Magic Kingdom and the beautiful Seven Seas Lagoon, guests are treated to first class service and exquisite food. I have taken my own children to this dining location, although if your children are really young you may want to dine a little earlier as I have noticed that most families dine at California Grill fairly early and then later in the evening you may see a more adult crowd. It is Walt Disney World so children are most welcome! My second suggestion is 'Ohana located at Disney's Polynesian Resort. 'Ohana is my absolute favorite restaurant at Walt Disney World as I love the Polynesian theming, the festive ambiance, and the fabulous food! Cinderella Castle can be viewed from certain areas of this dining location.I would suggest requesting a view of Cinderella Castle when you check- in at the podium. Although it is not guaranteed, they do try to accommodate requests. Each of these dining locations provides a viewing of Wishes, a dazzling firework display at the Magic Kingdom park.I think you would be thoroughly pleased with both of these dining locations! They are different, but equally great!  Advance Dining Reservations can be made 180 days prior to arrival so I would recommend making your reservation as soon as possible by calling (407)WDW-DINE. I would suggest calling to make this reservation, rather than going online so that you can let the cast member know of this celebration.I am out of room for my answer, but if you have any other questions please let me know! Best wishes for a Magical Birthday! Jodie
