We're going to WDW in FEB 09 and can't decide between Old Key West Villa or a room at the Beach Club. 2 adults and 3 kids (8,6,4). We are after convenience! Which would you recommend?

    Hi Danielle,

If convenience is a factor, then Beach Club is the resort for you. This resort will allow you to walk or take a boat to both EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios. The boat is great because you do not need to collapse a stroller and you can leave the children in the stroller on the boat.

You will need to take a bus to both the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. However, my family sometimes takes the monorail from the Magic Kingdom to EPCOT to watch Illuminations at night. Then we walk out International Gateway to our resort-the Boardwalk which is on the opposite side of the lagoon from the Beach Club.

The Beach Club does have one of the greatest pool slides-Stormalong Bay. However, it is due for renovations around the time of your visit. You will be able to use the other pools at the resort or head to the Boardwalk and enjoy the Keister Coaster.

    Have a great trip!
