We'll be going to wdw in fall 2014 and getting the quick-service dinning plan. I don't want to "waste" our snacks on just ice cream or bottled water. What tips/ideas do you have to get the most out of them (I.e. snacks filling enough to be a 3rd

Hi, Brandie!  Even among my own family and friends, the question about how to eat with only two meals a day comes up often, and I tell them to use the snack credit like your third meal.

The easiest meal to do this with is breakfast.  You'll find muffins, pastries, scones, a whole piece of fruit, a cup of yogurt, or even a huge cinnamon roll.  I know for my family, we're a grab and go breakfast kind of people, so my girls are perfectly happy with a quick breakfast like this.

If you want to do something later in the day, you'll find an egg roll at EPCOT, or even a good sized bowl of lobster bisque.  You might share the soup with a friend who uses their snack credit for a whole, freshly baked baguette.  What a delicious lunch!  Be Our Guest at the Magic Kingdom also has two delicious soups that count as a snack credit and make a great, light lunch.

There's oatmeal, nachos and cheese, chili cheese fries, carrots and celery with ranch dressing, and many other food items you'll find that you might make a small meal out of.  And with your quick service meals, you get a dessert item that you can wrap and save for later - as your snack!

Have a great visit to Walt Disney World!
