    We will be going to WDW the end of May , staying at AOA Cars Suites. We did not purchase the meal plans. Will we have problems finding places to eat?

    Velvet,

    Absolutely not! The dining plan is just a way to pre-pay for your meals. Or most of them, anyway.

    When it comes to dining for you, there are a few considerations;

    • Counter service restaurants will always be an option for you. There are many located throughout all the parks and resorts. There are some that are AMAZING, and others that are just so-so. But you can always find something to eat!
    • Table Service restaurants do have the possibility of walk-up guests. Some of the more popular may be booked up for the night, but others seemingly always have availability.
    • For those table service meals that you REALLY want, make a reservation now. Call 407-WDW-DINE and see what is available. That way if you really want to meet some characters at a particular restaurant, or have your sights set on a particular cuisine in the Epcot World Showcase, you can be sure to get it. Don't leave it to chance when you arrive, as you don't want the disappointment of not getting a particular meal to put a damper on your trip.
    I love giving restaurant advice. If you want some ideas of good places to go, either table service or quick service, send me a question and tell me a bit about what you like/dislike, table vs. quick service, and where you will be (like a particular park). I can send you a few ideas!

    Have a magical vacation!
