We will be at WDW at the end of January. We are staying offsite so we do not have a DDP. Can you recommend counter service restaurants at each park? We are not looking for extravagant meals. Just want to eat and get back to the attractions!

    Hi Jennifer!

My family and I love the wonderful Quick Service/Counter Service options available at the Walt Disney World theme parks!  With many varieties of cuisines offered (especially in Epcot!!!), guests can enjoy some wonderful fare while chowing down and heading back to the attractions!

I've compiled a short list of some of my favorite QS dining options:

Magic Kingdom: Columbia Harbor House is my favorite, with great food options and a relaxing ambiance.   Another option is Pinocchio's Village Haus, which offers good counter service and is located right in the middle of Fantasyland.  A NEW addition is Be Our Guest Restaurant, which offers counter service for lunch only, and the reviews are that it is fantastic!

Epcot:  La Hacienda de San Angel in the Mexico pavilion offers the best of both worlds. One side is QS, one is TS. Both sides offer great food. At Sunshine Seasons, you can find healthy fare here and a variety of healthy snack options, and its right next door to Soarin'.  Tangierine Cafe offers fantastic Moroccan foods (and some platters are large enough for two!). And the Yorkshire County Fish Shop offers Fantastic Fish and Chips!!!

Hollywood Studios:  Not the best QS here, but kids seem to love Pizza Planet and the Backlot Express. Starring Rolls Cafe has great panini sandwiches and salads and at Min & Bills Dockside Diner, you can grab a tasty sandwich and go!

Animal Kingdom Hands down, you can't beat Flame Tree BBQ! Ribs that are enough for two to share definitely has my vote!

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation! -Malanie

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
