Hi Kenneth,
I LOVE your plan! With all of the Disney Resort hotels all decked out in their very finest for the holidays, there is tons of magic and fun to be found simply in touring them and taking in all of the incredible, festive details.
The gingerbread carousel at
Disney's Beach Club Resort is one of our favorite Christmas traditions. Not only does it smell absolutely scrumptious, but searching for all of the Hidden Mickeys is a lot of fun. Over at
Disney's Yacht Club Resort, you'll love seeing the holiday miniature train and village. It's like right out of the set of a movie! I'm happy to let you know that you'll be able to enjoy a few hours of complimentary
parking at each Disney Resort hotel that you visit. Simply tell the Cast Member at the gate that you're there to check out the holiday displays and decorations, and you'll be directed to the short-term parking lot.
While you're there, I'd also recommend visiting the life-size gingerbread house at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and seeing the gigantic Christmas tree in the lobby at
Disney's Wilderness Lodge. I love how each Disney Resort hotel captures the spirit of the season so well, yet each with their own personal touch. Don't forget that there are lots of wonderful
holiday experiences happening all around the Walt Disney World Resort, including two of my very
favorite special events of the entire year,
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and
Candlelight Processional. Of course, the
Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail is always lots of fun, and did someone say
holiday cookies? Mmm...
Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kenneth, and please come see us again if we can help with anything else as you're planning your visit. I hope that you have a truly wonderful vacation, and you head back home with a heart FULL of Disney magic and Christmas joy!
Missy
