    Going to WDW early Dec. so far schedule is MK 2days,Epcot, Hollywood debating on if we should do AK. or go back to another park. We have passes for 5 days. not hopper passes. We will be with in-laws and my Husband, son 6 and daughter month shy of 5.

    Karen,

    I am a big fan of the Animal Kingdom. I am OK with missing it, if you only have a few days, but seems like you have enough to spare a day to go. But to help you make your decision, keep these two ideas in mind;

    1. If you think you will want to visit the Animal Kingdom, make sure you have plans for that evening, like a fun dinner at a resort (like Chef Mickey's, for instance), a night at Downtown Disney, or something else. The Animal Kingdom typically closes around 5 pm that time of year, so you will want to have something to occupy your evening.
    2. If you are not 100% sure, schedule it for later in your visit. That way if you feel that a return to another park is really going to pay off, you can be a bit spontaneous in your planning and change gears.
    My kids LOVE the Animal Kingdom, so it is a must-do stop on any vacation. But you know your kids best. If they are not particularly interested in zoos or animals, then maybe an added day at the Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studios would best for you.

    Write me back if you have any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
