We are going to WDW during the second week in december (staying at Pop Century) and want to take kids to a show, my son is almost 8 and daughter 4, which one would you recommend, Aloha show or Mickey's BBQ show? can't wait! thanxs!

Out of the two you mentioned, I would choose Mickey's Backyard BBQ. It's a more laid-back atmosphere, and they kids are able to get up and dance with their favorite characters. Your children are a bit older, but this is still nice for little ones that get excited and don't want to sit still when they see their heroes.

The Spirit of Aloha luau is not a big hit with my family. We've found the service to be a bit lacking, and the show to be rather long and tiresome. We really thought we'd love it and were quite surprised to find out we prefer the other shows instead.

You didn't mention the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue, but I have to throw in a good word for it because it is our very favorite of all the dinner shows! The food and service have always been excellent, and the show is lots of fun. Our children love to get involved, and the whole family laughs uproariously throughout any evening we spend there. Just another option to consider!
