We are going to WDW during late Nov.-early Dec. 2009. Interested in seeing the Candlelight Processional. When do CP dinner packages usually become available for booking? Would you recommend taking a toddler to this event?

The Candlelight Processional is a breath-taking performance of the Christmas story narrated by a celebrity reader and the moving music of a massive orchestra and choir. The dates for the 2009 performances, and when the packages will go on sale, have not been released at this time. Given the past history, I would expect to see the packages go on sale around the beginning of July. You may want to consider signing up for a Disney newsletter, like allears.net or passporter.com. These newsletters send out weekly email updates on Disney information and events and will announce once the packages are released.

I would absolutely recommend taking a toddler to the performance, but only you would know your child's interests and whether he/she would enjoy this experience. My three boys have been going since they were babies and have always loved it. Although they were unable to understand the readings when they were younger, they have always been fascinated by the beautiful music and had no problem sitting for the show. Remember you can always leave if he/she becomes restless. I hope you are able to take in this show, it is our favorite Disney way to celebrate the spirit of the holiday season. Enjoy!
