Will be in WDW during Epcot food and wine and thinking about splitting up a table service credit to use as snack credits to enjoy more variety of food . What do you think? Is it worth it?

Hey, Tammy! Thanks for stopping by with your delicious question! I am seriously counting down the days until I will be back at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. This is my favorite Walt Disney World Resort event, not only for the delicious foods and drinks but also for the Eat to the Beat Concert Series! There are some great acts playing this year, so be sure to check out the lineup for your dates!

In my experience, I have been able to use my Disney Dining Plan entitlements at the Global Marketplace booths during the festival. The snack credits can be used on almost all food and nonalcoholic beverages. This is a great use of the snack credits, considering the many offerings that are over $6! I have also been able to get up to three items for a single Quick Service meal entitlement. Note that all three items must be purchased at the same time from the same booth. If you prefer, you can visit the Front Desk at your Disney Resort Hotel and have them go ahead and split up your meal credits into snack credits. This will give you the ability to use your credits as you wish.

I always think about the value of my meal credits and, while you could use a Table Service meal entitlement to purchase three items at a booth, I do not see any value in doing so. Honestly, you would be better off in planning one less Quick Service meal, making a dining reservation to use those Table Service credits, and using those extra Quick Service credits at the festival. I know you may not want to eat a large meal at a Table Service dining location on your Epcot day, so maybe make an extra reservation on one of your other days or take the opportunity to experience a Signature Dining location that requires two Table Service credits.

Thanks again for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions!
