What's going WDW 12/6 - 12/14? Discounts aren't available for that entire week but are weeks before and after? Cant change my plans for already have tickets to MVMCP. Should I be worried about crowds?

    Hi Sandra,

I have regularly vacationed at the Walt Disney World Resorts during this time of December and I would not be too concerned with the crowds.

There are two events which may be impacting the no discount. Pop Warner Football generally  has its championship event during this time of the year. While the value hotels and ESPN's Wide World of Sports might be packed during the day, you do not sense the extra guests in the parks as they are all watching football. You may see extra guests at night at the Hoop Dee Doo Revue or Downtown Disney but it is all manageable.

The Christmas Day Parade is also taped during the first two weeks of the December as well. Magic Kingdom is the park which is impacted the most but again you can choose to avoid the park while the parade tapes or join in on the fun.

As for why some weeks have discounts, it really is up to Disney to decide.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
