    We are going to WDW on December 27-January 5. We want to take our little ones (3 & 5 girls) to character meal, but I can't decide between chef Mickey and Cinderella's Royal Table. Maybe is important to tell it will be their first time at WDW. Any insi

    Hi, Laura!  I think it's important to know if they have favorite characters.  At Cinderella's Royal Table, you will dine inside Cinderella Castle, and the feel is much more elegant and formal (although you can go dressed in shorts, t-shirts, whatever your theme park attire is).  You are likely to meet Cinderella and some of the other princesses at this meal, although characters are always subject to change.



    Chef Mickey's is a buffet dining experience inside the Contemporary Resort.  You will probably meet Mickey, Goofy, Chip and Dale, and maybe some other familiar characters.  The feel here is more casual, with some music and guest interaction.  This is the one my girls have always preferred.



    If you decide to do one of these meals, make your advanced dining reservations as soon as your 180 day window opens up.  They are two of the most popular dining experiences at Walt Disney World, and it can be tough to secure a reservation!
