We are going to wdw dec 14 -21 2017 ( 7 nights) but are arriving late on 14th, planning a fun day ( pizza by the pool) at our resort and leaving early on 21. Is there any way we can get a 5 or 6 day dining plan when we are technically staying for 7?

    Hi Rachel,

What a great time of the year to visit the Walt Disney World Resort! The magic is extra special with the holiday pixie dust flowing!

When you purchase the Disney Dining Plan it is for the length of your stay and is tied to your park tickets. The number of meals and snacks is determined by the number of days you are on vacation. However, you can use those credits any day you want.

For example, you would have seven days of dining and let's say you are getting the base Disney Dining Plan that comes with one quick service meal, one table service meal and a snack. You would have seven quick service meals, seven table service meals and seven snacks to use any way you want. You could use the dining plan to pay for the meals at your resort including the pizza and grab snacks. To make up for the day you leave early, you can add an additional meal on another day. After each use of the Disney Dining Plan, you are given a balance of meals remaining so you can budget the remaining meals.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
