We are going to WDW in Dec...where can you get the best view of the Water Parade at night if you are staying in a cabin at the Wilderness area?

    Hi Jamie,

We just recently stayed at the Fort Wilderness Cabins for the first time earlier this year. We had so much fun, we turned right around and went back there two months later. The Fort Wilderness property is peaceful and beautiful and offers such a huge amount of amenities you could almost spend your entire trip at the resort. I did say almost!

The cabins are nicely decorated and are extremely clean, comfortable and homey. You are able to enjoy the Electric Water Parade from the beach and boat dock area at the Settlement, however there are no cabin loops located near Bay Lake and therefore you would not be able to see the Water Parade from any of the cabins themselves.

There are a few preferred campsite hookups (numbers 100 & 200 specifically) which are next to the Settlement area and very near Bay Lake, which may offer a slight view of the parade but I am not positive on that. The best choice for you, would be to stroll on over to the Settlement and enjoy dinner or a drink or even let the kids play on the beach until parade time, and enjoy from there. If you have not seen the parade yet, it is very unique and pretty and well worth the trip over to the beach.

    Enjoy!
