Will be at WDW 12/5-12/11. DD5yrs&DD2yrs. DDs will be wearing leggings throughout whole trip. T-shirts & Tank tops. Would zip-up hoodies be appropiate enough or do we need something heavier? Scarfs & ear muffs? Many Thanks for any suggestions..

Hi Stacey! I'm headed to Disney World in December too, and like you, I'm contemplating what to pack.(However, anyone that knows me will tell you that I end up taking almost everything I own!) The average temperatures at Disney in December are mild 70s during the day with evening lows in the 50s. However, I've visited Disney during December on several occasions, and I've experienced days that are much warmer than that and days that are downright freezing! For that reason, it's best to dress in layers, as you've planned, but also to have a few items on hand in case it's chilly. I checked the weather forecast for your trip, and it looks like most of your trip you'll experience highs in the 70s. However, the current forecast does predict temperatures in the 60s with lows in the 40s for the last few days of your visit. For those days, I think you'd want to have a heavy sweatshirt or warm coat in addition to the hoodies, especially if you're planning to visit the parks in the early mornings or the evenings. It may not be quite cold enough to warrant the scarves and earmuffs, but hats might be useful to keep the little ones warm in the evenings.

Hope this helps! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have any last-minute questions before your trip!
