Going to WDW 12/11-12/17 w/ DS 9 & DD 4. What would be the best Character Dining for 9yo.?DD wants so see Princesses, DS doesn't really have a preference.

Hi, Tricia!  I've been to Walt Disney World with my nephews several times, and for them, there are three favorite character meals.  Chef Mickey's is a favorite, even of my now 14 year old nephew, for the simple fact that he can choose whatever he wants to eat and however much of it he wants!  That's a huge selling point for a growing boy!

The other two are character breakfasts.  One, Donald's Safari breakfast, is at Disney's Animal Kingdom, and features, of course, Donald Duck!  They boys also like character breakfast at 'Ohana, where you can usually find Lilo and Stitch.

The 'Ohana character meal is an all you care to eat breakfast, served family style.  That means they will bring the meal to your table, and you simply have to ask for whatever more you would like.  Donald's Safari breakfast, which takes place at the Tusker House restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom, is a buffet meal.

Chef Mickey's is the only one of these three locations that offers a character dinner.  The food at this buffet location is very good, and the character interaction is great fun!

    Have a wonderful trip!
