How exciting you will be spending twelve days at the Walt Disney World Resort this fall, Jessica! The first thing I would recommend is that you decide how many days you would like to spend in the parks. As a mom of four children, I have found from firsthand experience that three consecutive park days can be very tiring with young children. My family likes to plan non-park days (resort days) in the middle of our vacation in order to sleep in, enjoy our DIsney Resort, and experience many of the exciting recreational activities outside of the theme parks. I would definitely suggest that you spend at least two full days at Magic Kingdom Park and one full day at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Epcot. I would also plan a visit to Downtown Disney. On days that we do not visit a theme park, we like to dine at table-service restaurants at Downtown Disney or one of the Walt DIsney World Resorts.
I like to view the park hours for our dates of travel before booking any Advanced Dining Reservations. At this time, the park hours for November have not been released. Follow this link to view the
Park Hours Calendar. Guests are able to book Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days in advance. I do like to book my Advanced Dining Reservations based on which park I will be visiting that day in order to maximize my time in the park.
During your vacation, you may also want to consider attending
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, a festive special event held on select nights during the months of November and December in Magic Kingdom Park. I am out of room for my answer, but please don't hesitate to write me back with any additional questions. Best wishes for a
magical trip, Jessica!
Happy Planning,
Jodie
