Hi- going to WDW & Cruise in less than 2 weeks, my 6month old is not quite ready for the basic restaurant wooden highchair. Thinking of bringing a portable chair that clips onto table, will I be able to use this? any other ideas? thanks!

You will be permitted to use it. Whether or not it will fit to the table becomes a bit more questionable. Because all tables are made differently, your clip-on chair may or may not fit. And because many restaurants will have tablecloths that aren't compatible with the use of a table-attached chair, it won't be very convenient. (As if traveling with an infant is ever convenient!) However, I have indeed seen other guests using them.

When I traveled with my daughters as infants, they used their car seat and later their wooden high chair. In many restaurants, I left them in their stroller while we dined. It was a more comfortable spot for them, and they could eat from the attached tray if they liked, or lay back and nap if I was really lucky! That was before the invention of Bumbo seats, though, which is what I might now consider using.

    Good luck!
