We will be at WDW 5/23-5/27 to celebrate dd's 5th and ds's 8th birthdays. I have reserved Cinderella's Royal Table breakfast for dd's birthday and Chef Mickey's breakfast for ds's birthday. What will the staff do for a breakfast celebration?

When my twins turned 6, we had breakfast that day at Cinderella's Royal Table and dinner at Chef Mickey's. Great minds think alike ;-)

Be sure to call Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE and have them add a note to your reservation that says you are celebrating birthdays. Also be sure to remind the hosts at the podium of the restaurant. At both these places, the servers will decorate your table with a bit of confetti and streamers. You will also get a free cupcake at these meals for the birthday boy or girl. At Chef Mickey's they give you a commemorative placemat too. (My guess is that if you explained that you have two birthdays in your group, a kind cast member would give you an extra for your daughter.) Beyond that, any additional celebration would be up to you. For my twins, we arranged to have a special birthday cake brought to the table (additional charge) because they wanted a cake with their names on it. I must say that we never even touched the cake that night because they were so interested in the free cupcake and the gigantic dessert buffet at the restaurant. Our server was kind enough to re-box the cake so we could bring it back to our room. We ended up having it for breakfast the next morning. The kids got a big hoot out of the fact that mom let them eat cake for breakfast one day.

Hope you have a wonderful trip.
