I will be in WDW on my 30th b-day jan 7 2010. The Magic Kingdom park closes at 8pm do they have everyone leave at 8 or people stay until after the fireworks. i saw fantsyland is a good spots for fireworks pics. is this true.

Hi Benton. Sounds like you've got the perfect 30th birthday celebration in the making! Park guests do ten to leave the park immediately after the fireworks, so buses and traffic can get quite busy. The shops on Main Street usually stay open approximately an hour after the fireworks. It's a great time to do some shopping as the crowds thin out. You can enjoy a Casey's hotdog, a delicious chocolate chip cookie from the Main Street Bakery and pick up some Mickey souvenirs!

Wishing you a magical birthday Benton!
