    We're going to WDW April 30.trying to decide whether to stay at Boardwalk Inn or Beach Club Resort.We love spending time at the pool. the website says the stormalong bay pool at BCR will be finished with renovation by mid-Apr.Should we count on that or not

    If Disney gives a specific end date for a refurbishment or renovation, then they make every possible effort to make sure that date is adhered to. While I can't make a 100% guarantee on the pool reopening date, I feel very confident that Stormalong Bay will be open when WDW says it will be open.

    I have stayed at the Beach Club and the Boardwalk. These are both great hotels, with wonderful service and excellent access to Ecpot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. However, I must tell you that the Yacht/Beach Club pool is FAR superior to the Boardwalk pool. In my opinion, it's worth the gamble.
